Biogas plants with upgrading and injection facilities place new requirements on gas measurement, particularly on gas quality analysis. In the case of injection, the gas quality specifications must be complied with and therefore monitored using metrological technology. In addition, the official fiscal gas measurement requirements must be met. Elster is able to supply complete packages for all measurement and control tasks necessary for biogas grid injection. By working together with well-established partners in the industry we build turnkey systems that take care of the fiscal measurement tasks, odorization, compression and blending with LPG for example, to upgrade the biogas to the required biomethane quality.
